Sportswear giant Reebok has dropped yet another shoe for all the sneakerheads to get their hands on.
The collaborative effort with renowned sneaker retailer Nice Kicks and designer Frank Cooker pays homage to Allen Iverson’s love for fishing. The Question Mid “Bubba Chuck” started retailing on Nice Kicks online portal from 3 July and on shop4reebok.com from 10 July onwards.
For the purpose of the launch, Reebok and Nice Kicks have conducted a video interview with Allen Iverson or Bubba Chuck himself, giving an insight into his childhood and love for fishing ever since he took it up as a kid in his hometown.
The Nice Kicks x Reebok Question Mid “Bubba Chuck” is inspired by a conversation that took place between Iverson and Reebok designer Scott Hewett when the two enjoyed a fishing trip together nearly 25 years ago.
The Question Mid “Bubba Chuck” comes in subtle earth tones of aqua blue, grey and beige with bursts of red, yellow and purple throughout. The show has a suede mudguard wave and toecap stitched over a jet black Kevlar upper.
Iverson “3” logo and Nice Kicks logo can be seen at the rear of the left and right outsoles, respectively, with the classic Reebok Question logo at the heel of each upper.
In India, the shoe will retail at Rs. 12,999 on Vegnonveg, Superkicks and Reebok’s official website.
