Markus Neubrand has been appointed by Puma to the positions of chief financial officer (CFO) and management board member, with effect from 1st October 2024.
The corporation said in a press that Hubert Hinterseher’s current contract will expire on 31st December 2024, subject to mutual consent.
The 48-year-old Neubrand was Guess’s chief financial officer most recently. He had previously worked for the high-end clothing company MCM Worldwide as group chief financial officer. He had been Hugo Boss’s chief operating and chief financial officer for the Americas region before then.
Neubrand will be in charge of Puma’s finance, investor relations, legal, IT, and business solutions departments, the company said.
“Markus is a seasoned finance professional with substantial knowledge of capital markets, financial planning, and operations,” Arne Freundt, CEO of Puma, remarked, “He is a great fit for the Puma family with his strong industry knowledge and people-first approach.”
Arne Freundt, CPO, Markus Neubrand, CFO, and CSO Anne-Laure Descours will make up Puma’s management board as of 1st October 2024.
