Britain’s largest online-only fashion retailer ASOS has named Adam Crozier, who has extensive Boardroom experience, as successor of Brian McBride who will be stepping down as Chairman and Non-Executive Director, effective November 29, 2018 after the next Annual General Meeting of the company.
Ian Dyson, Senior Independent Non-Executive Director on behalf of the Board thanked Brian McBride for his contribution during a period of high growth. Brian McBride has been with the company for six years.
Ian Dyson also welcomed Adam who is going to join the company on November 29. In the past, Adam served Saatchi & Saatchi, Vue International, G4S, the Football Association, the Royal Mail, and most recently ITV plc in various roles.
Brian McBride termed his association with ASOS a great honour and pleasure, and wished the company continuous success in becoming number one destination globally for fashion-conscious twenty-somethings.
On the other hand, Adam, who finds ASOS story truly impressive, is excited to become part of it. “I am eager to work with the team that is building a global powerhouse in online fashion,” stated Adam in a statement issued by the company.
Established in 2000, ASOS is Britain’s biggest e-commerce success story. Additionally, the e-fashion retailer announced its partnership with London College of Fashion’s Centre for Sustainable Fashion (CSF) to launch a training programme on Circular Fashion for its designers last month.
