The National Basketball Association, or NBA, has entered into a multi-year merchandising partnership with Suditi Industries Ltd. to launch fanwear apparel in India.
Suditi Industries, over the years, has achieved the status of being a well-known leader in apparel exports.
The NBA fanwear apparel will feature the extensive range of NBA merchandise that is available in India, including a mix of youth and adult products from all 30 NBA teams. The fanwear apparel will be available in department stores across the country including Shoppers Stop and Central, and will also be available in e-commerce sites Jabong and Myntra.
Siddharth Chury, NBA India Associate Vice President, Global Partnerships, expressed happiness over the partnership with Suditi Industries to enhance the range of NBA products available to fans.
He further added “As our fanbase continues to grow exponentially, we have also witnessed an increasing demand for NBA merchandise, which is beyond our core oncourt products from Nike and Spalding.”
More on the same, Pawan Agarwal, Chairman & Managing Director, Suditi Industries Ltd., averred “Our aim is to fully penetrate the Indian market and make NBA fanwear apparel more widely available for fans across India.”
