Meesho a multi-brand fashion and lifestyle e-commerce platform owned by Indian company Fashnear Technologies Private Limited expects to record a threefold order growth during the festive season this year. The e-commerce business is planning to utilise ‘Meesho Mall’ for customers’ onboarding.
According to Dhiresh Bansal Meesho’s chief financial officer “We believe that Malls will be a significant lever for monetisation in the future, We are also expecting three times order growth during the festive season. Staying true to its vision, Meesho Mall aims to double down on accessibility, affordability, selection, and experience for its diverse stakeholder. ”
The platform saw a rise of 68 per cent sales compared to the year before during its festive season with an approximate 3.34 crore orders during the sale.
The Meesho Mall concept was launched last year which is an in-app brand store creating a platform for shoppers to purchase products directly from brands and authorised partners. The mall is designed for brands to sell their products directly to consumers while browsing through diverse products.
