
Among customers who follow influencers, more than half stated they are more inclined to make a purchase from a company that collaborates with an influencer.
According to a new study by Capterra UK that surveyed 1,013 UK online users who frequently use social media, influencers continue to play a big impact in the purchasing decisions of online customers, particularly via Instagram.
Around 89 per cent of those surveyed claimed to be familiar with the idea of social media influencers, and among them, 53 per cent claimed to follow influencers on social media. Particularly, 55 per cent of these fans cited Instagram as their preferred platform for watching influencer material.
Eduardo Garcia Rodriguez, the analyst for this report, added, “Influencer marketing can hold promise for brands seeking new channels to engage with customers.”
