This Monday, men’s premium essentials brand Mack Weldon, launched their first active wear series.
Dubbed as the AIRKNITx, the series includes underwear in boxer brief and brief styles, crew neck t-shirts and socks ranging between US $ 24 and US $ 42. The move signals Mack Weldon going after a larger piece of the men’s market share in the underwear category.
AIRKNITx pieces are composed of a unique microfiber blend and are synonymous with Mack Weldon’s signature design approach. Key features include a fly-less pouch for ultimate support, moisture wicking, anti-bacterial technology, and a high-stretch microfiber zone, engineered for maximum breathability.

“Guys are active all day, every day; so we created a product that is as suited for the boardroom as it is the locker room,” said Matthew Congdon, Vice President of Design at Mack Weldon, adding, “Our customers want a hybrid product that compliments their active lifestyle.”
The collection is available for purchase online at Mackweldon.com and will also be sold exclusively at Equinox locations.
This partnership with Equinox also marks the brand’s first major venture into offline retail. Equinox has also been focusing on building up the apparel offering for their Shop @ Equinox to expand their business beyond just fitness offerings.
