Lux Industries Ltd., a prominent player in the hosiery business, is focusing on the growth potential of the kidswear market in India. The company aims to generate approximately Rs. 100 crore in revenue from the kidswear segment within the next three years. Lux Industries launched its kid wear range under the Lux Cozi brand last year and plans to introduce more products to achieve its target.
Lux Industries has experienced significant growth in the mid-premium range under the Lux Cozi brand and expects it to become a Rs. 1,000-crore brand in the next three years. The company believes that there is currently no pan-India brand in the mid-premium segment catering specifically to the kidswear category, and it aims to tap into the growing demand.
Saket Todi, the executive director at Lux Industries, expressed optimism about the company’s growth prospects. Lux Cozi has gained market share with the help of brand endorsements, and the company is confident about expanding it into a Rs. 1,000-crore brand, up from the current Rs. 600 crore, within the next three years.
Apart from Lux Cozi, Lux Industries operates various other brands including Genx, Lyra, and Onn. The company’s focus on the kids wear market aligns with its goal of diversifying its product offerings and expanding its presence in the apparel industry.
