One of the busiest airports in the world, Heathrow has announced the launch of a new pop-up Louis Vuitton (LV) store at terminal 4 of the London airport. The latest store is spread around 20 square meters and will be functional for five months (till November).
It is pertinent to mention here that a permanent LV outlet will be inaugurated by the end of this year at the same location. The opening of pop-up will mark the introduction of the third store at the airport, as previously two store openings took place at terminal 5 and 3 in 2014 and 2017 respectively.
The new pop-up space’s range is inspired by the ‘My LV World Tour Collection’ that pays homage to Gaston-Louis Vuitton’s exclusive collection of destination stickers. This new store will help the global fashion brand to build a strong name among the travellers.
Chris Annetts, Retail & Services Director, London Heathrow Airport said, “Demand for accessories and bags has been continuously increasing, with our insight showing that such products are generally attracting the passengers travelling to a variety of locations, without caring about the season.”
Additionally, huge monogrammed name tags and stickers of famous monuments and landmarks can be seen decorating the store’s see-through exterior, with regards to labels from the 1930s that were originally mounted on to trunks and luggage to represent travelling and exploration art.
The new interim pop-up store also offers a selection of leather goods and accessories for both men and women, making the luxury brand accessible to travellers until it sets up permanently at the Heathrow airport in the coming autumn.
