
The namesake label of London based fashion designer Roksanda Ilinčić, Roksanda, has hired multinational professional services network, Deloitte to search for outside investors willing to get on board and take a majority stake in the business.
This move comes as Eiesha Bharti Pasricha, seeks an exit as she believes the brand needs a partner who possesses a greater understanding of the evolving luxury industry.
Indian businesswoman Pasricha, acquired a controlling stake in Roksanda in 2014 to support the brand’s global expansion plans following a rebrand that saw the company drop the designer’s surname, Ilincic, leading the brand name to solely be called Roksanda.
In lieu of Pasricha’s investment, Roksanda observed an annual revenue jump from £ 3 million to £ 10 million, additionally allowed Roksanda to open its first standalone boutique in London in 2014 and appoint a chief executive.
According to Times, the deal could value the luxury brand at about £20 million, whose boasts of clients such as the Duchess of Cambridge, Melania Trump and Lady Gaga, among others.
Roksanda Ilincic, is in line for the British Designer of the Year award in the Womenswear category at the Fashion Awards slated to take place on December 10 at Royal Albert Hall in London. Roksanda was nominated alongside Clare Waight, Jonathan Anderson, Simone Rocha and Victoria Beckham.
