K-Pop star Taeyong has been selected as a new Global Brand Ambassador for Loewe, the Spanish fashion brand owned by LVMH and creatively led for the previous ten years by Jonathan Anderson.
He’s renowned for his “unique personal style and love of fashion,” and he’s “been a long-time supporter of Loewe’s innovative design and craftsmanship, often blending the brand’s key runway pieces with casual wardrobe staples for a contemporary fashion-forward look,” according to reports.
He will attend the company’s forthcoming SS24 men’s runway show in Paris in keeping with his new role.
Anderson paid tribute to the new arrival, saying: “I’m delighted to welcome Taeyong to the Loewe family. He has a special connection to the brand, having admired and worn Loewe for a long time, and we love his idiosyncratic style. With Taeyong’s many talents spanning songwriting, performing and visual creation, I’m really excited to see what this collaboration will bring.”
As a member of the K-pop group NCT, the celebrity initially gained notoriety in 2016 and has since established a reputation as an all-around performer. He has had a significant impact on many global charts and has gained recognition all over the world as a member of NCT, NCT 127, and NCT U.
