Lee, owned by Kontoor Brands, unveiled its latest vintage clothing drop, highlighting denim from the 1970s. The second collection from Lee Archives features summer-ready men’s and women’s pieces.
Lee’s latest collection presents a variety of vintage Rider vest styles, inspired by the iconic Lee Rider jacket. The options encompass a spectrum of washes, from dark to light, and feature variations like brown corduroy collars or collarless and waistband-free designs.
Additionally, the collection offers a selection of cut-off jean shorts in different shades of denim, catering to both men and women.
Lee Archives debuted in October as a vintage shopping section on Lee’s website, paying homage to avid vintage collectors who search for Lee relics in shops and flea markets. The initial collection of Lee Archives primarily featured Lee Storm Rider jackets believed to be produced during the 1960s and 1970s.
During the launch, Lee announced its collaboration with a reputable third-party organization to responsibly source and evaluate all vintage pieces, ensuring their authenticity. Additionally, every item undergoes an internal assessment by Lee’s in-house design and quality teams to maintain high standards.
Lee Archives products come with individualised descriptions, offering information about their condition and multiple accompanying photos. In the new collection, some descriptions may mention minor holes on the back and outseam, or a stain on the front, while other items are described as being in ‘good and clean’ condition.
