US-based fashion retailer L Brands has unveiled its March sales report.
During the reporting month, the fashion retailer noted a 7 per cent increase in its net sales to US $ 1.020 billion from US $ 951.4 million in the same period last year.
L Brands’ comparable sales during the reporting period noted a 4 per cent increase. Its net sales for the nine weeks period ended on April 7, 2018, increased by 9 per cent to US $ 1.874 billion from US $ 1.717 billion in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
Comparable sales for the period increased by 3 per cent when compared to the five-week period ended on April 8, 2017.
The lingerie label, which currently runs 3,067 speciality stores in the US, Canada, the UK and the Greater China, expects its 2018 Earnings Per Share (EPS) to be between US $ 2.95 and US $ 3.25, including EPS between US $ 0.15 and US $ 0.20 in the first quarter of 2018.
Its brands Victoria’s Secret, PINK, Bath & Body Works, La Senza and Henri Bendel are sold in more than 800 additional franchised locations worldwide.
