Klarna, the global shopping and payment service, is here with its new app!
The Swedish fintech firm has announced that its redesigned app will combine wish lists, inspiration and price alerts all under one banner.
To put it simply, consumers can shop within the app on retailer’s website via iframe with traditional methods of payments like credit or debit cards through Klarna.
The app will allow its UK shoppers to use Klarna with any of their favourite online retailers and split the cost over 3 interest-free instalments.
This is regardless of whether Klarna has any partnership with any store.
More on this, Sebastian Siemiatkowski, CEO, Klarna, said “It creates a truly personalised and bespoke service for every user and liberates consumers from ever paying more than the price of the product.”
Klarna’s one-stop-shop app is already being called the future of shopping and with estimates showing that around 72 per cent of e-commerce may take place on mobile devices by 2021 end, Klarna seems to be all set to win the race.
It is all about giving users a unique and personalised shopping experience at their fingertips.
It will also be interesting to see how other bigwigs like Amazon, who have their own BNPL offerings, react to this new development.
Klarna’s new app is already live in many markets that include the US, Australia and Sweden, where the app is used by 6.5 million people, on average, every month.
