Together with its customers, Kappahl donated SEK 4.4 million to local children’s rights organisations in the financial year 2021.
And this the Swedish fashion did through its “I’m fine as I am” campaign!
While in Sweden, Kappahl partners with BRIS, in Norway and Finland, the fashion stalwart joins hands with Kors på Halsen and the Mannerheim League for Child Welfare, respectively.
In Poland, Kappahl teamed up with the Empowering Children Foundation.
All the aforementioned organisations give an opportunity to children to speak to and receive support from an adult.
The funds raised – in this case SEK 4.4 million– will help the organisations to employ more counsellors, for example, to respond to calls and chat messages from children and young people.
Also, Kappahl’s customers donate by activities such as rounding up their payment at the checkout or by purchasing items from which a proportion of the proceeds benefits the organisations directly.
Founded in 1953 in Gothenburg, Sweden, the Kappahl Group is a leading fashion chain in the Nordics, with around 370 Kappahl and Newbie stores, and Shop Online in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Poland and the UK.
