
US-based direct-to-consumer fashion platform a.k.a. Brands has acquired equity interests of the American streetwear brand Mnml for US $ 48.6 million.
Notably, Mnml will be sold in the US and Australia via its own website as well through Culture Kings. Earlier this year, a.k.a. Brands had bought the Australian streetwear brand Culture Kings for an undisclosed amount.

Welcoming the new brand, a delighted, Jill Ramsey, CEO, a.k.a. Brands, said that as a high-growth, content-rich and fashion-forward brand, Mnml perfectly fits into the a.k.a. portfolio.
The existing a.k.a. portfolio consists of 3 prominent brands, namely, Princess Polly, Petal & Pup and Rebdolls.
Jill added that the association with a.k.a. Brands will help Mnml grow big both in the US and across the globe.
She also said that Mnml’s merchandising expertise and highly loyal customer base will provide synergistic opportunities with Culture Kings that will unlock compelling growth for both brands.
Founded as recently as 2016 in LA, Mnml is a direct-to-consumer men’s streetwear brand that designs premier, fashion-forward apparel.
