Inditex, the parent company of global apparel brands like Zara, is increasing its presence in the southern hemisphere with the launch of first ever Zara store in New Zealand. With this launch, the number of stores operating in the southern hemisphere reaches 9 and it marks the fifth market entry for the brand this year.
Sprawling over an area of 2,552 sq. mt., the new store in Auckland’s Sylvia Park shopping centre displays the fashion brand’s latest Spring/Summer collections, including the Woman, Basic, TRF, Kids and Man ranges, designed exclusively for the southern hemisphere.

Additionally, the new store is incorporated with Inditex’s environmental criteria presented in its Sustainable Inditex Plan. It may be mentioned here that more than half of Inditex’s stores worldwide are already eco-efficient, consuming 30 per cent less energy and half the amount of water compared with a conventional store.
Inditex is the world’s leading fashion group which operates over 7,000 stores in 88 markets and owns brands like Zara, Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho, Zara Home and Uterqüe.
