Women’s fashion and lifestyle brand Hush reported revenues of £ 62 million for the year to 25th march 2023, down 9 per cent on the prior year.
Hush stated in its report with Companies House UK that the sales fall reflected patterns seen in the larger retail market, which had a rough year.
The company also stated that the increased use of discounting squeezed margins, resulting in a 20 per cent drop in gross profit to £ 22.7 million for the year, while operational profit fell 84 per cent to £ 1.4 million.
Hush appointed former Amazon and Diageo executive Sarah Miles as its new CEO in January, while former Coach executive Melissa Dick joined the firm as its new chief creative officer in February.
