Alessandro Michele is back in collaboration with Yoox Net a Porter for an all new collection, this time for a menswear capsule with their Mr Porter vertical. The 43-piece collection that consists of ready-to-wear, shoes and accessories will be released on May 18. Last year he worked on a 20-piece collection for the luxury ecommerce platform and the new collection is looking to build on the same.
Marco Bizzarri, President and CEO of Gucci said, “We are pleased to build on the success of our exclusive capsule collection for Net-a-porter last year with a new capsule, this time for Mr Porter.”

Apart from basic essentials like five-pocket denims and the brand’s infamous preppy jackets, slim trousers and bright suits; the collection expanses through a lilac fil coupé shirt, a wool jacquard bee crewneck sweater, a jersey jacket with paisley prints and their famous embroidered tiger, and a pair of Horsebit loafers in the iconic GG wallpaper print. Managing Director of Mr Porter, Toby Bateman said, “We are the thrilled to partner with Gucci on this exclusive project, at a time when the House is so vibrant and influential in its designs. Alessandro and his team’s talents truly shine through with this unique capsule collection of iconic pieces, all of which we’re sure will be an instant success with our global customer.”
The collection is set to be priced between 140 pounds to 2,030 pounds. Bateman also added, “There is something for each type of Mr Porter customer. The logo print hoodie and Ts appeal to the younger, more urban guy, while a classic Horsebit loafer will last and wear a lifetime for the discerning, slightly older one.”
