GIII Apparel which owns Crankshaft and holds licenses for Calvin Klein, Guess and Levi’s, witnessed a 28 per cent rise in its turnover in the first nine months of 2014 fiscal year at US $ 1.6 billion .It recorded a 21 per cent increase in sales at US $ 812.3 million, for its third quarter that ended on October 31, 2014. The rise was in part due to the US $ 65.7 million generated by the footwear brand GHBass, which was acquired by the American group in November 2013. GIII’s net earnings went up by 35 per cent to US $ 80.1 million. Now, the company expects to end its financial year on January 31, 2015 with a turnover of US $ 2.13 billion compared to its previous forecast of US $ 1.71 billion.
