Chief Operating Officer of Lenzing AG, Friedrich Weninger has stepped down from his post in the textile and nonwovens cellulose fibre manufacturing firm. Friedrich will not extend his contract with Lenzing any further which is set to end on December 31, 2014. He has been associated with the textile and nonwovens cellulose fibres manufacturer for more than 25 years. After logging out as Member of the Management Board, he will now support the company in an advisory capacity. Recently, he managed the company’s production facilities with its more than 6,000 employees. No reason about his exit from the company has been revealed.
