
LVMH, which owns reputed French fashion brands like Louis Vuitton and Christian Dior, witnessed its Q1 sales go up by 35 per cent in its leather and goods segment.
Notably, the segment saw its sales reach £7.6 billion in the quarter that ended 31 March 2022.
Though LVMH did not reveal revenue by brand name, it said that LVMH – thanks to strong creativity – has had an excellent start to the year.
The fashion group also said that amongst its other reputed brands Christian Dior had another remarkable performance.
Besides, Celine witnessed very strong growth owing to the remarkable success of its ready-to-wear and leather goods designed by Hedi Slimane.
LVMH’s total sales, for the said quarter, rose by 29 per cent to £15 billion.
Paris-based LVMH was founded in 1987 and generated €53.7 billion in 2019.
