French fashion brand Destree has just completed Series A funding round to expand its team, in addition to opening its first stores in Paris in June 2022.
Notably, the specific amount of the deal hasn’t been disclosed as yet.
Ably led by Sequoia Capital China under the leadership of Angelica Cheung, the deal will keep the two founders of the company as majority shareholders.
Besides opening a store in Paris, the fashion brand Destree additionally has around 80 select retailers.
Moving forward, it also aims to generate 80 per cent of its turnover through direct sales and looks at launching a store in China or New York.
Late last year, Destree had introduced its maiden women’s ready-to-wear collection through a pop-up store at Bon Marché.
Female superstars, including the likes of Rihanna, Beyoncé and Reese Witherspoon, took part in the first round.
