Forever 21, the American fast fashion retailer, has teamed up with cross-border e-commerce solutions provider Global-e in its endeavour to launch localised digital stores to woo the shoppers of Asia, Canada, Australia and other APAC countries.
The new digital stores are expected to open by the end of January this year.
The launch is seen as a significant business move by the brand especially considering its recent Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection filing.
What’s Global-e’s solution going to bring for Forever 21!
The chief objective of the solution provider will be to help Forever 21 speed up its digital expansion drive in specific markets with a core focus on meeting the needs of every shopper in every market.
Besides, this solution can support more than 95 currencies, more than 150 local and alternative payment methods, tax calculations and not to mention checkout systems in as many as 21 languages.
Alex Ok, President, Forever 21, said “Ecommerce forms a large chunk of the profitable core of our operations and as a part of our new global strategy, Forever 21 will leverage Global-e’s technology to offer international customers an outstanding online experience.”
