Foot Locker recently celebrated the grand re-opening of its 34th Street store in New York City, showcasing its brand-new ‘Home Court’ retail concept, developed in collaboration with Nike and the Jordan brand.
Situated at 112 W 34th Street, the newly redesigned Foot Locker Home Court store is a premier multi-brand basketball shopping destination in the heart of Manhattan. The Home Court concept highlights a curated selection of on-court and off-court products from leading brands, including Nike, Jordan, Adidas, Puma, New Balance, Under Armour, and more.
The interior of the store is visually dynamic, with street-inspired basketball aesthetics, complemented by cutting-edge digital innovations such as ‘The Clinic Digital Experience.’ This feature allows customers to engage in a self-initiated vertical jump challenge, offering an interactive way to assess sneaker performance.
Adding to the experience, the store is equipped with 3D scanning technology for precise measurement tools, ensuring customers find the perfect fit for their basketball gear.
“Foot Locker ‘Home Court’ marks a significant step forward in how we connect with sneaker enthusiasts and enhance the basketball experience in collaboration with our brand partners,” said Mary Dillon, President and CEO of Foot Locker, Inc. “Our revamped 34th Street store sets a new standard for omnichannel retail, aligned with our Lace Up Plan and deeply rooted in sneaker culture.”
Additionally, Kids Foot Locker is debuting its new concept at this reopened location. The reimagined space caters to all age groups and parents, featuring an engaging activity table for children, along with social spaces for capturing selfies and documenting the sneaker shopping journey.
“Our newly redesigned store embodies Foot Locker’s ongoing evolution and reinforces our leadership in sneaker and basketball culture. The introduction of our new Foot Locker ‘Home Court’ in partnership with Nike and Jordan Brand at this location sets a new benchmark,” said Frank Bracken, EVP and Chief Commercial Officer of Foot Locker, Inc. “We are proud to bring this innovative experience to the heart of New York City, designed to serve families, inspire sneaker enthusiasts, and celebrate the spirit of basketball culture.”
Looking ahead, Foot Locker is planning new store openings in Delhi, marking the company’s first venture into the Indian market.
