An average of 89 percent of tops purchased in maternity apparel is composed of 60 to 100 percent cotton, with more than three-quarters made from 100 percent cotton. The fibre breakdown for bottoms is approximately the same; with an average of 75 percent bottoms manufactured being composed of between 60 to 100 percent cotton and 59 percent being made completely from 100 percent cotton.
