Popular luxury boutique Dover Street Market has announced the opening of their second store in the US.
Keeping in tune with their subtle way of making the company developments public, the high fashion company made the latest announcement by dedicating a page, named DSM LA, to their website.
Throwing more light on the new endeavor, Adrian Joffe, CEO, Comme des Garcons and Dover Street Market, said, “The space will now be spread out on a single large floor, orchestrated and divided harmoniously among the different complementary brands, rather than separate levels, making it different from its London, Tokyo and New York counterparts.”
DSM opened another outlet in Beijing this February, highlighting the company’s willingness in expanding further into the Asian luxury fashion market.
With the launch of the LA store, Dover Street Market now owns 5 outlets globally.
Dover Street Market is the creation of Rei Kawakubo of Japanese fashion label Comme des Garçons and her husband Adrian Joffe. Opened originally in London, the brand has grown exponentially. It is popular for selling Comme des Garçons and analogous high fashion brands such as Céline, Balenciaga, Valentino, Gucci, Lanvin, Maison Margiela, LOEWE, Saint Laurent, Ann Demeulemeester, Vetements among others.
