Dick’s Sporting Goods, the largest US-based full-line omni-channel sporting goods retailer, has announced to open two new stores in the US this month. These stores will be inaugurated at Richmond, VA and Fort Collins, CO, from July 13 to July 15 and July 20 to July 22 respectively.
These new stores will feature apparel, footwear and sports equipment from the company’s own private brands such as Tommy Armour, CALIA by Carrie Underwood, Field & Stream and Ethos. Customers can also get products of Nike, Under Armour and Adidas at these upcoming stores.
The brand is aimed to better serve the athletes and outdoor enthusiasts in these communities by providing other ways to shop its wide selection of products and having first-hand access to its in-store experts.
With the opening of these outlets, the retailer will take its store count to 728 in US. The new stores will create job opportunities for around 130 people including full-time and part-time and temporary associates in these localities.
“Our endeavour is to offer convenient access to the products and knowledge our customers need to enjoy their sports and outdoor passions,” stated Scott Hudler, Senior Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer, DICK’S Sporting Goods in a statement issued by the company.
Dick’s, founded in 1948, has added more than 200 stores to its profile over the past five years.
