The French sports goods retailer Decathlon has announced to shut down its store in High Wycombe, England. The retailer put up a notice at the front of the store.
The store will finally close on Saturday (1 October) after first opening in the Eden Centre back in 2017.
The notice at the front of the store read “Our High Wycombe team has loved serving the local community. We want to let you know that employment will be preserved, without teammates being offered alternative roles and relocation opportunities.”
While thanking for all the support, it further said that although it was closed, one can find tips and advice on its Decathlon Play platform.
