The Apparel Group brand Crocs is presenting a custom capsule collection of its recognisable clogs, slides, and Jibbitz charms in honour of Ramadan this year, along with the inspiring multi-channel campaign ‘spread the joy.’ The integrated campaign brings to life the themes of introspection, diversity, and celebration with loved ones in order to embody Crocs’ motto of Come As You Are.
The limited-edition collection offers something for the whole family to celebrate Ramadan in a casual, fashionable, and distinctly Crocs way. It is a festive, glam, and dazzling twist on some of the brand’s best-selling designs.
The collection includes four distinct styles: the classic clog, the platform clog, the kids’ clog, and the brand-new platform slide silhouette. For the event, the iconic footwear comes in a number of eye-catching hues and designs, toying with a pearlescent white and a silver and gold glitter ombré. An enhanced five-pack of Jibbitz charms with gold and jewel embellishments is part of the collection, offering a variety of ways to customise and adorn your appearance for the festive season.
The campaign, which began with a hero film that highlights the variety of the Muslim community, carries on the ‘sharing the joy’ slogan first established in 2022. The multi-channel activation, which was developed in collaboration with the London-based creative firm Stereo and the community and creative agency Muslim Sisterhood, promotes inclusivity through a real-world lens, echoing Crocs’ objective to help people feel at ease in their footwear.
A strong global movement, Muslim Sisterhood seeks to change outmoded perceptions about Muslims and promote Muslim inclusion in the media while creating fresh conversation through its seminars and artistic expression.
The female-focused cast, which was captured by photographer Jameela Elfaki and director India Harris, reflects Muslim women as well as the individuality of every person and encourages viewers to feel at ease in their own skin. The advertisement centres on the main characters throughout the joyous month of Ramadan, creating a setting for happy gatherings while sporting Crocs’ brand-new capsule collection.
