Nylon fabrics brand CORDURA, which is owned by synthetic textile fibre manufacturer Invista, has joined forces with ESMOD Paris, a fashion school, to develop fresh ideas for more fashionable and consumable protective personal equipment.
ESMOD fashion students will use CORDURA’s high-performance fabrics to develop a complete style portfolio consisting of several casual designs for both men and women. Designers will begin with traditional work wear concepts and integrate modern world fashion styling concepts, states the release from ESMOD. The fashion school will be sampling CORDURA’s high-visibility, abrasion-resistant, denim and wool fabrics over the course of the project.
