Coming soon to downtown St. Petersburg is EnnYe, a specialised retail shop featuring clothing and accessories made with African fabric, which is all set to open at 300 Beach Drive NE, Suite 111.
A brand born from the combined creativity of Matipa Mutsemi and her sister Mercy Nyamangwanda, EnnYe offers a diverse range of products including clothing and accessories featuring prints from all parts of Africa.
According to the Zimbabwean entrepreneur Mutsemi, who not only established a clothing line but also successfully introduced a makeup brand EnnYeEthnic Cosmetics, most items at EnnYe will feature designs from Zimbabwe and other nations in the southern part of the continent.
Through EnnYe, Mutsemi has curated a unique style of her own, blending contemporary fashion with traditional African prints and designs.
“They primarily serve a decorative purpose,” underlines Mutsemi discussing the symbols used in EnnYe designs, who added sacred prints for royalty and commemorations are excluded from her creations as a mark of respect.
