Start-ups in Bangladesh have a lot to cheer about as the Government plans to cut turnover tax for start-ups to 0.1 per cent from 0.6 per cent in the new fiscal year, which will start on 1 July.
As per reports, the Government’s move is aimed at providing entrepreneurs a competitive advantage to expand their businesses in the global arena.
Bangladesh Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal made this disclosure as a part of his budget proposal in parliament recently even as he went on to suggest withdrawing the restrictions on expenditure of start-ups.
