American fashion label Banana Republic is coming out with its maiden on-demand delivery service in New York and Southern California!
And to make this happen, the fashion brand has joined hands with the logistics firm Postmates.
While making this announcement to the media, Banana Republic confirmed that the aforementioned service is an extension of brand’s buy online, pick-up in-store service.
So what’s it offering!
The shoppers can visit the website of Banana Republic, purchase the product of their liking and then either choose a buy online, pick-up in-store option or select the Postmates’ delivery service.
What’s noteworthy is that the customers who are withing the delivery radius do not have to pay any fee – enough to lure many.
Add to it, it not helps shoppers address, often overlooked or hidden, wardrobe concerns, but also enables them to find right clothes for the right moment and right event.
A delighted Vivek Patel, COO, Postmates, while talking to the media, said “Our delivery as a service product is growing fast. In fact, it has jumped by more than 300 per cent year-over-year.”
Vivek added “With apparel orders rising by 60 per cent, we know that more and more retailers will be looking at Postmates to make shopping convenient for their customers through delivery.”
