Banana Moon, the renowned swimwear brand, continues its strategic expansion into sun-soaked locales, capitalizing on the growing demand for swimwear fashion.
After establishing a presence in Ibiza in 2022, the brand recently unveiled a boutique in L’Escala on the Costa Brava, further solidifying its position in the Spanish market. Andréa Filippi, Sales Director, anticipates additional Spanish store openings in 2024.
Italy, too, welcomed Banana Moon this spring, with the opening of a boutique in the Sicilian resort of Taormina. In France, two new outlets were introduced prior to summer in Lyon and Nîmes.
Banana Moon is also extending its reach through department store corners and various retailers, including El Corte Inglés, La Rinascente, Inno, and Galeries Lafayette. With a network of around 2,500 retailers and nearly forty boutiques, the brand’s presence is expanding globally.
Notably, Banana Moon has diversified its product lines to include sportswear, yoga, loungewear, and a more ‘couture’ range.
Looking ahead to Spring/Summer 2024, the brand will launch the ‘BForLife’ line, catering to sports stores and offering eco-responsible options like casual, vitaminized-style triangle tops and bras. Additionally, a collaboration with the French fashion house Bonton is on the horizon for summer 2024.
The expansion of the brand also signifies the growing demand for swimwear and solidifies the hold of traditional retail outlets even in the era of digital shopping,
