British online fashion marketplace has announced the appointment of Alexandra Shulman as a strategic advisor.
Alexandra has earlier served as the editor-in-chief of British Vogue.
The onboarding of an advisor for the venture comes as the company is part of an ongoing crowd funding effort through CrowdCube.
Mike Welch, founder of Atterly, looks at the crowd funding as an “incredible opportunity” for all purveyors of the fashion marketplace and boutique partners to own a stake in the venture as it scales operations.
According to the company, the negative impact of the pandemic has not affected their working and consumers are enthusiastic as ever to shop on the platform with orders up as much as 250 per cent Y-o-Y during 1 April to 17 May.
Speaking on the appointment, Mike averred, “I am delighted to welcome Alexandra to the Atterley family. With her help, we plan to build upon our relationships with boutiques, consumers and fashion brands as we continue towards our ultimate aim of establishing Atterley as the go-to destination for boutique fashion sales.”
Alexandra has also expressed her innate enthusiasm on becoming part of the Atterly family in the capacity of an advisor. She added that she admires the way the company collaborates with independent boutiques which is an excellent way for bricks-and-mortar and online to work together.
