Poshmark, a digital marketplace for American residents to retail and purchase apparel, is expanding its e-retail offerings with the introduction of its new Posh Markets feature, that has added on refined shopping communities within the company’s online marketplace.
With the introduction of six unique shopping features for women, men, kids, along with boutiques, plus-size offerings and luxury, the online retailer is aiding its tens of millions of members towards a particular apparel range offered by the platform’s “Seller Stylists,” who at present is over 4 million.
Manish Chandra, Founder & CEO, Poshmark said that the number of available listings at any given point in time recently soared over 75 million. “As we keep on growing, we are expecting the numbers to be cross the 100 million mark by 2019,” the CEO said.
Notably, the e-commerce player has also evolved as per the demands of its shoppers. Also, the opportunities have increased to sell a greater variety of goods through different Seller Stylists. The members click photos of their collection and post it for the buyers to choose.
Reportedly, the retailer claims that on an average its members spend about 25 minutes on its mobile application on a daily basis, discovering the varied range of apparels available in the marketplace, the members open the application seven to nine times which might result in one of the Poshmark sales made every second.
Furthermore, the latest figures show that Poshmark’s “Seller Stylists” uploads US $ 100 million in inventory every week and sharing 14 million items each day through the traditional platform.
