With a host of apparel retailers like H&M, Zara, and Forever 21 growing rapidly, iconic apparel retailers like American Apparel, Wet Sealm Deb Shops, and Delia’s have filed for bankruptcy in the recent past. Another company which is in a precarious position is Abercrombie & Fitch, which has lost about 40 per cent of its market value over the past year with a lot of common issues with American Apparel, like heavily branded apparel and high price tags. The company lacks a permanent leader since its long time CEO Mike Jeffries resignation last year, and hence it needs a new CEO.
