US-based teen clothing retailer of casual wear Aéropostale has aborted its year old exclusive ties with e-commerce giant Amazon.in and has entered into agreement with other marketplaces including Flipkart, Jabong and Arvind Group’s omni-channel platform Nnnow.com.
American youth brand started selling its apparel on Amazon.in and sold apparel worth Rs. 8 lakh daily on average in its first month of operations in India in April 2016.
“This was a mutually agreed partnership with Amazon that led Amazon.in to be our exclusive partner for a year. Now the tenure has got over and we are available on platforms including Jabong, Flipkart besides Amazon,” said Sumit Dhingra, COO, Aéropostale India.
