TMRW, an Aditya Birla Group venture, has invested Rs.200 crore in Bewakoof, founded by Prabhkiran Singh in 2012. This will fuel the growth of the D2C brand. With an aim to reach Rs.1500 crore in revenue in next five years, Bewakoof’s partnership with TMRW will enable the company to utilise its various capabilities to upgrade its apparel business.
TMRW has already acquired major stakes in other seven cluster brands like Berrylush women’s westernwear brand, Juneberry women’s casualwear and westernwear, Natilene-Teen’s occasionwear, Nauti Nati’s kidswear , Nobero’s athleisure and activewear and so on.
According to a press release, TMRW is on a path to create a leading technology-led digital-first ‘House of Brands’ and is set to cross an annual revenue rate of Rs. 1500 crore plus in the next 12 months with the investment of Rs. 200 crore by buying secondary stake in Bewakoof which resulted in an exit of all of its existing investors.
