Adidas is preparing to introduce a new 3D-printed sneaker called the Climamog, which has sparked excitement across social media. Previewed by sneaker photographer Tyler Mansour, the Climamog builds on Adidas’ Climacool concept with a futuristic design focused on breathability and comfort.
The Climamog features a 100 per cent polyurethane upper, designed with a lattice-like structure achieved through 3D printing. The shoe emphasises ventilation, with breathable openings that extend even to the sole. Although the official name was not initially revealed, Mansour shared a glimpse of the sneaker, noting it delivers a redefined sense of comfort.
While a US release date has not been confirmed, the Climamog has already launched in Malaysia and Singapore in an Off-White colourway, retailing for approximately US $ 146 to US $ 168. Hints of a US launch have surfaced through a Customs and Border Protection tariff ruling, which describes the 3D-printed design and production process.
Adidas’ history with Climacool technology dates back to 2002, and the brand has continued to innovate with 3D printing in past collections. The Climamog, however, marks Adidas’ most significant step forward in fully 3D-printed footwear. Further details on the US launch are expected soon.
