
Abercrombie & Fitch, a global specialty retailer of casual apparel for men, women and kids, continues its Middle East expansion with the announcement of its first branded store at Dubai’s luxury shopping centre, Mall of Emirates. The store is being opened as a joint venture between Abercrombie and Fitch and Majid Al Futtaim Fashion, the leading shopping mall, retail and leisure pioneer across the Middle East and MENA. The 18,000 square ft. store is one of the largest Abercrombie & Fitch mall-based stores globally and features the brand’s signature style and inviting shopping environment.

The Dubai store opening marks several firsts for the apparel brand, including a newly designed concept store featuring a stand-alone fragrance boutique and a carve-out for the Abercrombie kid’s brand. The new location is Abercrombie & Fitch’s third store in the region, following the opening of two stores in Kuwait in early 2015. “There is significant demand for Abercrombie & Fitch in the Middle East and the UAE is a natural fit for the brand,” said Rajiv Suri, Chief Executive Officer at Majid Al Futtaim Fashion.”
The apparel retailer operates 790 stores in the United States and 175 stores across Canada, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
