Mango, a Spanish clothing design and manufacturing company, is expanding its presence in France with the opening of a new retail concept store on Paris’ Boulevard Haussmann and a pledge to open over 70 new stores in the coming years.
According to Mango, France is a strategic market for the retail group, and it plans to increase its store count from 223 at the end of 2021 to 300 by the end of 2025.
To meet this goal, Mango plans to open 20 stores in France this year, including 12 new company stores and franchised locations in key cities.
From 2023 to 2025, Mango plans to open between 20 and 24 new stores per year, or about two new stores per month.
Along with these new store openings, Mango plans to invest in store network renewal over the next few years. The renovation of the Haussmann store and two other large stores in the heart of Paris began with a €3.5 million investment.
