
Vardhman Textiles’ net profit increased by 26.36 per cent to Rs. 200.59 crore in the quarter that ended in March 2024 compared to Rs. 158.74 crore in the quarter that ended in March 2023. In the quarter that ended in March 2024, sales decreased by 1.05 per cent to Rs. 2459.41 crore, from Rs. 2485.61 crore in the quarter that ended in March 2023.
Net profit for the entire year decreased by 20.57 per cent to Rs. 631.59 crore in the fiscal year that ended in March 2024 from Rs. 795.16 crore in the fiscal year that ended in March 2023. Sales for the year ended March 2024 dropped to Rs. 9504.68 crore from Rs. 10137.49 crore in the year prior ended March 2023, a 6.24 per cent decrease.
Vardhman Textiles is a prominent textile conglomerate in India, with a US $ 1.1 billion annual revenue. The manufacturing facilities of Vardhman Textiles comprise more than 10,48,160 spindles, 450 metric tonnes of yarn and fibre dyeing each day, 1300 shuttleless looms, 115 million metres of processed fabric annually, 34 tonnes of sewing thread per day, and 20000 metric tonnes of acrylic fibre annually.
