
Giriraj Singh, the Union Minister of Textiles, met with beneficiaries of the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme in New Delhi to discuss MMF (Man-Made Fibre) clothing, textiles, and technological textiles. During the interactive session, participants shared their experiences, triumphs, and challenges under the Scheme, highlighting the continuous dedication and advancement within the textile sector.
Giriraj Singh reaffirmed the Government’s unshakeable commitment to supporting innovation and growth in the textile sector during the session. He reassured the attendees that the Ministry of Textiles will keep up its strong support, emphasising the value of teamwork and candid communication in advancing the industry.
“The feedback and ideas shared during this session are invaluable,” said the Minister. “Our continued success in the textile sector relies on these collaborative efforts and open communication. I am greatly encouraged by the dedication of the PLI Scheme participants and their commitment to advancing our industry.”
The PLI Scheme’s future tactics and prospective improvements that could be made to increase its efficacy were also discussed. The Minister promised the attendees that the Ministry will continue to support them and pushed them to move quickly through their investment processes.
The beneficiary companies conveyed their appreciation to Giriraj Singh for giving them the chance to share their opinions and recommendations, stressing the significance of the Government’s assistance in achieving the sector’s objective.
