Canada Goose, an outwear brand, has appointed Beth Clymer to the newly established role of President, overseeing finance, strategy, and administration, effective 8th January.
Beth would be responsible for navigating administration and the financial aspects. Her collaborative efforts will extend to partnering with existing leaders in this sphere, namely Carrie Baker, president of brand and commercial, both reporting to Dani Reiss, the chairman and CEO.
This announcement coincides with impending transitions within the company’s leadership structure, as Jonathan Sinclair and Neil Bowden prepare to assume the roles of president, APAC, and CFO starting 1st April.
The most notable update is Penny Brook’s departure, who was the chief marketing and experience officer, by the end of the year. Baker will maintain oversight of global marketing, while Daniel Binder will persist as chief transformation officer, steering the company through ongoing transformative initiatives.
Beth Clymer brings a wealth of experience from her tenure as CFO at Jobcase for the past four years. With a decade-long background at Bain Capital as an operating partner, Clymer has an extensive track record of collaborating with various companies, including Canada Goose and Burlington Stores. Notably, she played a pivotal role with Canada Goose from 2015 to 2019.
