Adipic acid, a crucial component in the production of Nylon 6,6 and specialty nylons, Polyester polyols utilised in polyurethanes, and wet-strength resins for paper products (Price increase – US $ 0.25/kg)
FlexaTrac®-DME sourced from FlexaTrac® acids, esters, and specialty products, serves as a solvent for Printing inks within the apparel manufacturing sector (Price Increase – US $ 0.10 – US $ 0.25/kg)
FlexaTram™-BHM and FlexaTram-DAM from FlexaTram™ specialty amines are utilised for dye treatments and as a cationic emulsifier in setting emulsions and adhesion promotion (Price increase – US $ 0.10 – US $ 0.50/kg)
Hexatran™ and Prionil® from Signature Brands (Price Increase – US $ 0.05 – US $ 0.30/kg)
These revised prices are slated to come into effect on 1st March 2024. Additionally, Ascend Performance Materials finalized its acquisition of Formulated Polymers Limited in 2022, an engineered materials manufacturer based in Chennai, India, marking Ascend’s inaugural production facility in South Asia.
