A total of 71 companies in Bangladesh have received ‘National Export Trophy 2018-19’ for their contribution and performance in Bangladesh’s export earnings, along with other compliance issues.
According to a press communiqué issued in this direction, Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi handed over the gold, bronze and silver trophies in this direction to the recipients at an event held recently at the Bangabandhu Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre in Purbachal area.
At the event, jointly organised by the Ministry of Commerce and the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), 29 gold, 24 silver and 18 bronze trophies were given in different categories and services even as speaking on the occasion, Tipu Munshi said the companies were selected on the basis of their export performance.
