Scottish historical countrywear shop Humes Outfitters has launched its third location in the charming town of Alnwick in North East England, just south of the border from its home base in Kelso, Scotland.
The high-end outdoor apparel and accessory store for men and women, along with formal wear and daily necessities, officially opens on Bondgate on May 4. It offers a luxury selection of brands, such as Ariat, Fairfax & Favour, RM Williams, William Lockie, Le Chameau, Schöffel, Barbour, Birkenstock, and Meindl.
Rachel Thomson, Managing Director at Humes Outfitters, said, “Our decision to expand to Alnwick was driven by our deep affinity with the Northumbrian community, who have long been valued customers, both online and at our current Kelso locations.”
She added, “We are drawn to the charm of Alnwick’s town centre, with its cobbled streets and bustling market vibe, reminiscent of our beloved home in Kelso. And just minutes away from the stunning Northumbrian countryside, our new store is perfectly situated for those looking to don new outdoor wear to explore the beautiful local scenery.”
The official opening will feature community events to support children’s charities the Country Trust and the Royal Highland Educational Trust.
