Zara, the Spanish fast fashion stalwart, will now be charging £1.95 for items returned online – the fee being deducted from their refund.
Notably, returns have often hit the margins of retailers significantly.
The retailer’s move follows rise in returns rate as many customers go back to more trend-led products.
However, items purchased from stores can be returned to any store in the same region – and all free of charge.

Zara was founded in 1975 and is known for apparels, accessories, shoes, swimwear, beauty and perfumes. It, reportedly, makes roughly 40,000 designs of which around 12,000 new designs are carefully selected and produced each year.
